Bikesh Dahal Chettri "Mad Raggety" (Nepali: विकेश दाहाल छेत्री) is a Nepali rapper and songwriter from Kathmandu, Nepal.

Personal life

Mad Raggety was born in Golbazar, Siraha, as the second son of Bimal Dahal and Bidhya Dahal. He completed his schooling from four different schools. He completed his kindergarten to Grade 1 education from a local school in Golbazar (Jagriti Boarding School). After Grade 1, he was transferred to another school (Srijana Secondary English School) in Golbazar, where he studied up to Grade 4. Later, he joined Sagarmatha Secondary English School, Mirchiya, Siraha, to complete Grade 5. Later, he moved to Hetauda and completed his education up to Grade 7 from Hetauda Modern School, Hetauda. After Grade 7, he went to Kathmandu. He completed his SLC from Valley Public School, Kathmandu, Nepal.

Rapping career

Mad Raggety started his rapping career by battling underground rappers in his hometown, Hetauda. Later, in December 2014, Mad Raggety and Avin announced their debut collaboration via a status update on Mad Raggety's Facebook page.[4] After his first collaboration, he is now doing cover songs and remixes.[5]
