Madhava Chandra

Madhava Chandra (died 17 September 2020) was an Indian diplomat.

Biography[edit]

He joined the Ministry of External Affairs in 1979 and later served as the Ambassador of India to Botswana from 2009 to 2014 and Papua New Guinea from 2014 to 2015. His final posting was as the High Commissioner of India to the Solomon Islands where he served from 2015 to 2017.[1][2]

Chandra died from post COVID-19 complications, aged 64, in 2020.[3]
