The competition was founded by Madhya Pradesh Football Association (MPFA) in 2021 as the top-tier league in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. The league forms one of the 4th tier football league of India on the pyramid.
A total of 8 teams compete in the league, with the table-toppers winning the title. The inaugural edition commenced on 10 January 2021.[1]
