Maeil Dairies Co., Ltd. (Korean: 매일유업) is a major South Korean dairy and food company headquartered in Seoul. Founded in 1969, it is one of the country's largest producers of dairy products, including milk, yogurt, cheese, and infant formula.

History
The company was established in 1969 as Korea Dairy Processing Co., Ltd. by the late founder Kim Bok-yong. It played a key role in the development of South Korea's dairy industry. In 1980, it changed its name to Maeil Dairies.
Maeil Dairies has pioneered several product categories in the Korean market: Caffe Latte: Launched in 1997, it was the first cup-coffee brand in South Korea and remains a market leader. Organic Milk: The company introduced organic milk products, capitalizing on the premium wellness trend. Selex: A protein supplement brand launched to target the adult nutrition market.

Since 1999, Maeil Dairies has produced special powdered milk for infants suffering from rare metabolic diseases such as PKU (Phenylketonuria). Despite the production costs exceeding profits due to low demand, the company continues this production as part of the late founder's philosophy that "no child should be left hungry."[2]
