143 Entertainment is a South Korean entertainment company established by Digital Masta.[2][3]
143 Entertainment is the home of artists including Dok2, Limelight and iKon.
History[edit]
2020–2021: Founding and beginning[edit]
143 Entertainment was founded on June 9, 2020, in Seoul by composer and producer Digital Masta.[1]
On August 6, 143 Entertainment trainees Kang Ye-seo and Mashiro Sakamoto competed in the television survival show Girls Planet 999.[4] On October 22, Yeseo and Mashiro successfully placed 6th and 8th in the final lineup of the show's debut group, Kep1er.[5]
2022–present: LimeLight debut and iKon[edit]
On August 16, 2022, 143 Entertainment announced that LimeLight will be an expandable group with an unlimited amount of members. The group will begin their activities with a pre-debut reality show 'Lululala' and release an EP after the reality show ends.[6]
On September 16, they announced that they will release their pre-debut EP Limelight, before making their official debut in February 2023.[7]
On January 1, 2023, following the expiration of their contracts with YG Entertainment, all members of iKon signed to 143 Entertainment. The group is set to release a new album in April.[8]
