Maen Adnan Hamdan Melhem (Arabic: معن ملحم) was born in 1977 in the State of Libya.[1][2] He is a Palestinian economist and businessman from the State of Libya.[3] He is the General Manager of the Palestinian Telecommunications Company "Paltel", and the General Manager of Jawwal from 2010 until 2014,[4] and he is the first president of the Palestinian Federation for Electronic Sports,[5] and he is a member of the Executive Committee of the Palestinian Communications Group and chaired the Palestinian Federation for Sports for All in 2013,[6] and is one of the most prominent administrators in Palestine.
Education
Melhem holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Al-Quds University and a Bachelor of Accounting and Finance from Hebron University, Palestine. During his working life, he attended several international conferences and advanced training programs that enriched his knowledge in the telecom field.
Achievements in Palestine
- In 2017, Melhem took an important strategic step towards investing in establishing data centers (the first of its kind in Palestine) in the cities of Nablus and Al-Bireh.[7] This has allowed the Palestinian Telecommunications Company to provide the Palestinian business sector with the highest level of (international) standards in terms of data services.[8]
