Premise[edit]
Mafia revolves around the story of a group of friends trying to discover their past as those events had a resonance in their present. They discover the truth through heinous acts exercised by them in the past.[2]

On June 23, 2020, ZEE5 announced that [5] Birsa Dasgupta is set to be the director alongside Parambrata Chatterjee who will produce the series.[6]Production companies involved with the series are Eskay Movies and Roadshow Films.[7]The series is set to premiere on July 10, 2020.[8]

The show will host stars like Namit Das, Tanmay Dhanania, Saurabh Saraswat, Anindita Bose, Madhurima Roy, Aditya Bakshi, Riddhima Ghosh and Isha Saha[9]

ZEE5 released the official trailer for the show on 27 June 2020 and will premiere on 10th July.[10]
