MagicSpam is an anti-spam computer program designed to be integrated with an email server to automatically prevent spam from reaching an email user's inbox.[2][self-published source?]
MagicSpam uses a variety of anti-spam techniques, but focuses on preventing spam from being processed by an email server. It blocks spam during the SMTP handshake phase to lower server load and reduce bandwidth use.
It is available for integration with popular email servers and is updated daily. Much of the MagicSpam technology is used in the MagicMail email server, also developed by LinuxMagic.
MagicSpam also works hand-in-hand with the community via the SpamAuditor blog,[3][self-published source?] in attempts to prevent further spam outbreaks.
