Mahboob Diwan Chopdar (Hindi: महबूब दीवान चोपदार), commonly known as MD Chopdar, is an Indian politician associated with the Indian National Congress (INC) in Rajasthan. He currently serves as the:

Early life and background
Chopdar was born on 21 April 1974 in Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan. His father, Haji Dr. Salauddin Chopdar, was a noted social worker and philanthropist. Inspired by his father's work, Chopdar pursued higher education, earning degrees in Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.).
He began participating in community service and student politics early in life. He is also an Ayurvedic entrepreneur, serving as Director of Rajasthan Herbals International Pvt. Ltd.[3]

Legal developments
In 2024, his appointment as Chairman of the Rajasthan Madarsa Board was challenged and later revoked by the state government. The Rajasthan High Court later stayed the cancellation and upheld his position.[7]
