Mahima Das is an Indian theater and film actress. Born in Bangalore, Karnataka (19 August 2002) brought up in Pune, She being her acting career in theatre since 2019. Mahima made her feature film debut with a brief role in the Odiya, fantasy film Chal Tike Dusta Heba(2019). Das has since worked in Odiya, Hindi and Bengali languages.
Early Life[edit]
Mahima was born into a Hindu family in Bangalore, Karnataka. Her father is a politician and businessman. Her mother is a house-maker who imparted family values to her. She was educated at St. Xavier School at Bhubaneswar and then moved to theatres, where she was offered Tapas’s teenage love story Chal Tike Dusta Heba in Odiya, which went on to become one of the biggest blockbusters of that year even bagging Das the most popular newcomer actress 2020 by Star Awards.
Personal Life[edit]
Mahima Das is not married and is single as of now. She spends most of her time sharpening her acting skills. An avid follower of “Never bend your head. Always hold it high. Look the world right in the eye.”, Das likes to take her career seriously. When away from her the limelight, Mahima likes to listen to Jazz, Opera, and Indian classical music.

Born in a family with supportive parents, Mahima started her career at the age of 17. Her debut movie, Chal Tike Dusta Heba was shot when she was 17. As per Mahima, “I used to keep a fine balance between my studies and my acting career through efficient time management techniques”. Mahima was awarded ‘The Most Popular Actress’ for newcomers by Star Film Awards in 2019 for her role in Odiya Teenage romance and her debut movie, ‘Chal Tike Dusta Heba’. She is a professional dancer and participated in dance reality TV shows like India’s Got Talent in which competed up to the quarter-finals. She even participated in Dance India Dance and Dance+ Season 3. She is the brand ambassador of Yashaswi Film School, Orissa’s first acting school. She recently signed two upcoming movies, ‘Tume Mo Sankha, Tume Mo Sindura’ and ‘Love You Priya’. Apart from theatres, Das is also a national champion in Athletics. She has represented her school, St. Xavier’s on the national level and bagged podium positions as well.
