Mahira Sharma (born 25 November 1996) is an Indian model and actress known for participating in Bigg Boss 13 and starring in multiple films and music videos.[2]
Early life
Sharma was born on 25 November 1996 in Jammu, India.[3] She has an elder brother named Akash Sharma.[4] After her schooling, her family moved to Mumbai where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts at University of Mumbai in Mumbai.[5]
Career
Sharma started off her career in 2015 by playing Ekta in SAB TV's Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.[6] In 2016, she played Shilpy in SAB TV's Y.A.R.O Ka Tashan.[7] In 2017, she judged MTV Date to Remember. In 2018, she played Sonia Singh in Partners Trouble Ho Gayi Double and Jamini in Naagin 3.[8] Then, she portrayed Monisha in Kundali Bhagya.[9]
In 2019, Sharma played Misha Oberoi in Colors TV's Bepanah Pyaar.[10] In September 2019, she participated in Bigg Boss 13.[11] Finishing at seventh place, she got eliminated in a midnight eviction, a week before the finale.[12]
In 2021, she featured in Punjabi film Kade Haan Kade Naa's song Singga Bolda.[13] In 2022, Sharma made her film debut with the Punjabi film Lehmberginni opposite Ranjit Bawa. The movie was shot in the United Kingdom.[14]
