Malayeen Karim (Arabic: ملايين كريم), born 19 July 1973 [1] Malayeen is an Iraqi actress and artist. She participated in the theatre production 'Alalam fi layla' in 1995 and starred in multiple Bedouin series such as 'Dahab', 'Habari', and 'Fajr Al-Sayoud'. She was a star of Iraqi films, including 'Almunharifoon', 'Alfurar' and 'Alkafaz alabyath. In 2009, she participated in a tv series called 'Dawalt Alraeesa' starring alongside the Iraqi actor Ayad Radhi which was directed by Aws Al-Sharqi [2]. The following year she starred in two series filmed in India called 'Filim hindi' which aird on Al Sharqiya channel and 'Alf layla wa layla'. She starred with the Saudi actor, Bashir Ghoneim in the award-winning [3] series Hindistani which aired on Yahala Channel on OSN [4]. In 2012 she filmed the second season of Hindistani with Saudi actor Asaad Al-Zahrani in India [5]. She also starred in 'Akbar Kaddab' which directed by Muhaned Abu Khumra and his brother Ali Abu Khumra. In 2014 she starred in a series called 'Eid and Shajn' which was aired on Huna Baghdad channel. Subsequently, she filmed 'Swigat family' which aired on Al Rasheed TV. channel.

Early life[edit]

Karim was born in Basra. Her official name is Sanna Karim. She moved to Baghdad at the age of 15 where she began her career in TV commercials. She then took part in theatre productions and films. She moved to Lebanon in 1997 and then to Sweden in 2000. In 2004 she moved to London.[6] [7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14]
