Malinda Pego is an American politician serving as the acting chair of the Michigan Republican Party.
Political career
She served as co-chair with Kristina Karamo since their election together in February 2023.[2] A vote at a party meeting on January 6, 2024, removed Karamo and temporarily replaced her with Pego, though Karamo disputes the validity of the meeting and claims to still be in power.[3] As of January 2024, the national GOP website shows the chairperson position as vacant.[4]
