Maniac Spider Trash was an American horror punk band active between 1993 and 1996. The band, along with Psycho Opera, launched the career of Wednesday 13, who went on to perform in bands like Frankenstein Drag Queens from Planet 13 and Murderdolls, along with a successful solo career. The band released one extended play called Dumpster Mummies in 1994.[1] The group's bassist, Michael Patrick, died in 2001 following a battle with cancer.[2]
