Many Uses of Computers
Computers are used in various fields, different types of computers are programmed differently which allows the computer to perform wide range of tasks.[1]
Education[edit]
Digital technology is becoming increasingly common place in K-12 education.[2] Computers have simplified the process of education, and online courses are becoming more common.[2] Through the use of educational technology, education can be individualized for each student which allows the student to work at their own pace.[3] ALEKS makes a great example for educational technology.
Work[edit]
Computers are used in many fields and industries.[1] They are used for variety of tasks, applications, and activities to increase the pace of work.[4]
Society and Computers[edit]
Computers can entertain people of all ages, top-tier desktops and laptops allows users to watch movies, sport events, and online shopping. With internet, computer allows the user to communicate with others around the world by using social media.[5] The general use of computers have created many industries.[1] Internet access allows the user to search all the types of information that is needed to finish a task.[6] With the help of internet, computer can allow people to look up news, weather forecast or book a place for vacation.[7]
