Marcus Eby, MD (born March 22, 1987) is an American board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon based in Palm Beach County, Florida. He is recognized for his work in thoracic surgery and his clinical practice in lung and esophageal cancer care. Eby currently practices privately and is affiliated with multiple institutions including Tampa General Hospital Cancer Institute.
Early life and education
Eby earned his medical degree from New York Medical College. He completed his residency in general surgery at the University of Miami, followed by fellowship training in cardiothoracic surgery at Rush University Medical Center in 2019.
Career
Following his training, Eby began practicing in South Florida, specializing in thoracic surgical oncology with an emphasis on minimally invasive and robotic-assisted techniques. He is affiliated with the Tampa General Hospital Cancer Institute, where he contributes to expanding thoracic cancer services throughout the Palm Beach region.[1]
In 2024, Eby participated in the launch of the Tampa General Hospital Cancer Institute's Wellington office, designed to enhance accessibility to specialized cancer care in the region.[2]
