Margaret French Isaac is a film producer based in Los Angeles, California, Executive Vice-president of Film and Television on Johnny Depp’s Infinitum Nihil Productions.

Career[edit]

Margaret graduated from Saint Mary's College of California in 1985. She began her career as executive assistant to David Kirkpatrick at the Weintraub Entertainment. Between 1990-1993, she served a creative executive at Paramount Pictures.[1]

Between 1993 and 1998, Margaret was President of Wendy Finerman Prods., which produced the Academy Awards winning Forrest Gump, Stepmom and Fairtale.[2][3]

As an Executive Vice-president, Margaret served as one of the top executives for Steven Spielberg at Dreamworks (1998 - 2000). There she developed The Tuxedo and The Love Letter, among others.[4]

Between 2001 and 2003 she was partnered with film and television director Mimi Leder, with whom she developed several projects together with producers like Warner Bros.[5] In those years, also was the producer of John Doe (FBC).[6]

In 2005, she joined Vanguard Animation as a Senior Executive where she developed Space Chimps and others.[7][8]

For more than ten years, since 2007, she served as Executive Vice President of Johnny Depp’s Infinitum Nihil Productions, participating in the development of several films, among them the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, The Rum Diary, Dark Shadows, and Mortdecai.[9]
