Marie 'Poppins' Bonnevay is a French freestyle street dancer, choreographer and actor. Bonnevay has worked in film, television, music videos and live shows. She has training in many dance styles - Locking, Breaking, House, Waacking, Tutting, Voguing and Popping. Bonnevay is most commonly recognised in Los Angeles female dance trio, Femme Fatale.
Career[edit]
Bonnevay has worked with many artists as a performer for Madonna, Busta Rhymes, Celine Dion, Dj Tiesto, Ne-Yo, KRS One, Rita Ora, Snoop Dogg, The Weeknd, Common, Ludacris and Justin Bieber. As a choreographer, she has worked with artists such as Brandy, Kelly Rowland, Cara Delevigne, The Black Eyed Peas and as a co-choreographer with Derek Hough for his piece Kairos in 2016 on Dancing With The Stars. Bonnevay has starred in movies StreetDance 2, Battle B-Boy and Mime Games. She has also been casted in commercials for Google, Microsoft, Skype, I Robot, Dynaudio, Sonos Speaker Alexa and YSL Beauty. Bonnevay was known to be the first french dancer on dance television show, So You Think You Can Dance (Season 11) on FOX. Bonnevay is also apart of a street dance female dance trio know as Femme Fatale. They formed in 2017. All dancers are based in Los Angeles but come from different parts of the world: Marie Bonnevay (France), Dassy Lee (Korea) and Lily Frias (Mexico). Their overall goal is to inspire women and the next generation of dancers.[1]
