Sarafina Belafonte

Sarafina Belafonte (born 2003) is the grand daughter of singer, actor and civil rights activist Harry Belafonte and the daughter of his son David Belafonte and Malena Belafonte. Sarafina Belafonte is signed to CESD talent agency in NY and LA. She is a singer and model and an accomplished dancer, mentored by Jacques d'Amboise founder of National Dance Institute. She has performed at Symphony Space, Skirball Theatre, Best Buy Theatre, SPAC, at the Thanksgiving Day Parade for National Dance Institute, been featured and interviewed on NBC, FOX, CBS and others talking about the benefits of dance and the National Dance Institute. She started modeling at the age of 9 when she was cast to do the exclusive Parsons Fashion Show, and was also featured in Scholastic Magazine. She walked the runway during New York Fashion Week in September 2015 for designer Nancy Vuu. She did both NY Fashion Week and LA Fashion Week in February 2016 for designers PopImpressKA and Nancy Vuu. In the fall of 2016 and again during NY Fashion Week in February of 2017 she walked the runway for Hungarian designer Makany Marta. In September of 2017 she walked the runway for PopImpressKa in The Journey Fashion Festival during NYFW. Sarafina Belafonte recorded and released "When Colors Come Together" for Sony Music, the remake of [Harry Belafonte's Island in the Sun in 2017.
