Marietta Meade (born Ora Simcha Mead, December 8, 1956) is a veteran voice-over talent/dubber, actress, translator, and author. In the course of a career spanning 53 years to date (2015), she has acted in numerous television, feature-film, and stage productions. She holds dual citizenship of Belgium and the United States of America.

Meade has worked speaking US English, British English, German (Hochdeutsch), French (France), Spanish (Castellano), Italian, Dutch, Portuguese, Danish, Swahili, and Hebrew.
Exclusive Voice Work
BMW: Meade is the original voice of automobile manufacturer BMW’s navigation system, CARIN (in German, English, and Italian).
Audi: Meade is the original German voice of automobile manufacturer Audi’s navigation system.
UBS Bank: Since 2000, Meade has been the original English voice of Switzerland’s UBS Bank (automated human response system).

Meade has recorded a vast number of language courses (English, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch), video games, audio books, radio plays, commercials, narrations, documentaries, trailers, and television promos.
Meade has also voice-acted in many animated films (Disney’s The Emperor’s New Groove, Buena Vista International’s Princess Mononoke, etc.).
In addition, Meade was a member of the German cast of Allegra’s Window, a children’s television series where she provided the dubbing and singing for the Ms. Melody character.
Translations
Meade has prepared numerous translations of voice-over/dubbing scripts, from French and English to German. She has also prepared scripts for TV documentaries.
Books
Running the European office of UK-based Credence Publications—as Ora S. James, from 2000-2006—Meade translated three books by British investigative journalist, Phillip Day: Cancer - Why We Are Still Dying to Know the Truth, Health Wars, and Food for Thought, from English to German.
In 2004, Meade self-published her first book, Tatwaffe Handy - Das (un-) heimliche Legat', (as Ora S. James).
She subsequently prepared the English translation (A Handy Way to Cook Your Brain - What's the Damage?).
In 2009, Meade self-published the updated and abridged version, Cellular Radiation: Is This Our Next Titanic.
