'Asmarawaty Zaini' (born 24 Nov 1957), commonly known as Mariko A. Yoshihara, her hobby of connecting people bring her close to more than 500 companies in Indonesia and some other countries in the region. Her motto is Bekerja-Bekerja-Bekerja as our President Jokowi and she always believe that we have to initiate positive movement together for our better future.[1]
Early life and education[edit]
Mariko was born in Jakarta, Indonesia in 1967 from Padangnese father and Japanese mother. With her full interest in Japanese studies, she went to Japanese Literature studies in University of Indonesia; then takes another Japanese study program at Kyoto University in Japan.
Starts from there, her career goals always about how to give impact to Indonesia workforce and lowering the poverty percentage in the country.[2]
Business career[edit]
After 20 years in Recruitment Industry in Indonesia, her interest change from only profit oriented to adding more value than just profit for the company but also for the society. Her focus now is more to social impact works in Indonesia; she’s supporting social entrepreneurship and looking for investing her knowledge and skill to the start up market.[3]
