Marissa Ann McMahon (née Mazzola; born July 4, 1973) is an American film producer and former public relations agent and television host.
She is the wife of Shane McMahon, former Executive Vice President of Global Media for World Wrestling Entertainment.
Life and career[edit]
Mazzola-McMahon graduated from Greenwich Academy in 1991.
World Wrestling Federation[edit]
Marissa Mazzola-McMahon began her career as a co-host for the show LiveWire. [1] She appeared in numerous interviews and also served in the role of interviewer herself. She was in charge of overseeing public relations area for WWF. Unlike other members of the McMahon family, Mazzola-McMahon has never made an appearance in the ring.
Film production[edit]
After her short time co-hosting LiveWire, Mazzola-McMahon started producing films. In this capacity, she has worked with WWF superstars, including Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Stone Cold Steve Austin. She played a brief role in the movie The Scorpion King [2] [3] as the bird merchant. The first film she produced was Anamorph [4], starring Willem Dafoe and Scott Speedman. She founded her own film company called Kamala Films, which is based out of New York City. She is one of the producers of the untitled film about Marie Colvin starring Rosamund Pike that will begin production in October 2017. [5]
Personal life[edit]
Marissa Mazzola married Shane on September 14, 1996 in a private ceremony on the McMahons' estate. [6] Together they have three sons. Declan (born February 13, 2004), Kenyon (born March 26, 2006), and Rogan (born January 20, 2010).[7] [8]
