Màrius Tiberian (born 13 September 1995, Badalona) is a Spanish DJ, music producer, and founder of independent music platforms. Known for his work in hardstyle, hard techno, and Frenchcore, he has performed across Europe and Latin America and has collaborated with artists such as Little Big and YouTubers like Jordi Wild. Influenced by underground hip-hop, metal, techno, and experimental sounds, Marius is carving out a niche with a personal style that is dark, introspective and brutal. His music explores themes such as urban decay, existential emptiness, addictions, crime, and pain.
Early life and career
Tiberian began his involvement in the music industry at the age of 15, founding the booking and management agency Tiberian Music in 2010. Focused on metal, punk, and hardcore bands, the agency operated under a DIY philosophy. He later created the record label Tiberian Records and the recording space Tiberian Studios.
Transition to electronic music
In 2012, inspired by the rise of dubstep and his work in nightclubs, Tiberian began producing electronic music. His first solo release came in 2017 with Short Life x Merry Life. That same year, he signed with Dutch label Dwarf Records. In 2020, he founded I&T (Ideas & Techno), an audiovisual label and creative platform.
Performances
Tiberian has performed extensively in Spain, France, Estonia, and Latin America. He was the opening act for Russian band Little Big in Madrid and has played at festivals such as Hardstyle United (Tallinn), Devil’s Dancing Fest (Barcelona), and X-Hard (Badalona). In February 2025, he performed at Studio 56 in Paris during the Côte d’Amour event, appearing as Captain Marius.
He has also been a resident DJ at Fabrik Madrid, one of Spain’s top electronic music venues.
Style and themes
He has been described as a “paranoid Catholic,” he mixes Christian faith with an absolute disenchantment with the modern world.
His style is heavily marked by existential pain, isolation, marginality, depression and violence.
His song lyrics address suicide, guilt, broken faith, criminality, addiction, and decay.
Relationship with Hooligans
During one of his sets, Marius unintentionally provoked one of the most notorious hooligan groups in Spain. According to an interview he gave, this happened after he spoke some sharp words into the microphone. It is known that Marius Tiberian maintains a strong and mutually respectful connection with King of The Streets, an informal (and somewhat legendary) organization dedicated to promoting street fights without rules in public spaces—from abandoned parking lots to side streets—where only physical strength, courage, and improvisation matter.
Marius Tiberian is sponsored by Askari, a brand with a street-military aesthetic, tactical clothing, and combat gear. His association with Askari reinforced his image as a “prepared urban fighter,” with a guerrilla style and a strong visual presence at every public appearance. Thanks to his reputation in street fighting circles and the backing of King of The Streets, it is rumored that Marius also had some connection with the organization of clandestine fights.
