Mark Johnsrud is an American politician who has served in elected and administrative positions in the state of Wisconsin.
Political career
Johnsrud was a member of the La Crosse City Council from 1997 to 2005, and was its president from 2001 to 2005. He was a member of the La Crosse County Board of Supervisors from 1998 to 2005.[1]
In 2005, he was elected mayor of La Crosse, Wisconsin with 52 percent of the vote, besting Deke Swanson after two-term mayor John Medinger retired.[2] Johnsrud's tenure ended after one term in office when he came in fifth in the mayoral primary in 2009.[citation needed]
Johnsrud became the village administrator for the village of Johnson Creek, Wisconsin in April 2009.[3] His contract was terminated by the village board of trustees in May 2016.[1]
