Mark Kaye (born October 26, 1974) is a conservative American radio and television host. He currently hosts the syndicated radio program The Mark Kaye Show and a show with the same title on Newsmax TV. The show emphasizes humor and games instead of hard hitting news commentary.

Biography[edit]

Mark Kaye was born in Toronto, Canada. His family immigrated to the United States when he was eight years old. He grew up in Winston-Salem,_North_Carolina.[1]

Kaye received a BA in film production and political science from New York University in 1995.[1] Upon graduation he became a waiter and board op in Raleigh, North Carolina.[2]

He was a host on 99.5 WIHT's HOT Morning Mess in Washington, DC from May 2001 to Nov 2006.

Kaye moved to Jacksonville, Florida and did The Big Ape Morning Mess show on WAPE[3] from 2007 through Friday, February 19, 2021.[4]

Kaye also started a Snapchat show "Talkin' Snap" in August 2014, where he interviewed musicians and Snapchat stars. In 2015 he was recognized as having the first Snapchat talk show.[5]

Kaye and his wife Pam began a charity, Kaye's Kids, benefiting Dreams Come True in December 2014.[6]

During 2017, he was also the primary fill-in host for The Herman Cain Show.[7]

Kaye started The Mark Kaye Show December 11, 2017. At that time it was only a one hour show.[7] The radio show was expanded to two hours in January 2019.[4]

He began hosting a 30 minute weekend show on Newsmax TV in July 2020, featuring video clips from his radio show.

WOKV decided to have Kaye fill Rush Limbaugh's former time slot, noon to 3pm Eastern[1] starting March 22, 2021, adding a third hour to the show.[8] The Mark Kaye Show was syndicated on some Cox Media Group radio stations beginning April 12, 2021.[9] [10] [11] [12]

The radio show is currently on WOKV [13], WHIO [14], KRMG [15], WDBO (delayed broadcast) [16], and WGAU (delayed broadcast) [17].
