Mark McKelvin Jr.
Mark McKelvin Jr. is an American astronautical engineer at The Aerospace Corporation[1][2] and is on the faculty at the USC Viterbi School of Engineering.[3]
Early life and education
McKelvin grew up in Sylvester, Georgia.[1] He graduated from Clark Atlanta University and then earned a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) in 2005, and a PhD in EECS in 2011, from UC Berkeley.[1][2][3]
Career
McKelvin works at The Aerospace Corporation after working at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory.[2]
McKelvin is on the astronautical engineering faculty of the USC Viterbi School of Engineering.[3]
Awards
In 2020, McKelvin received the Most Promising Engineer in Industry Award.[2]
