Mark Zuehlke is a Canadian military historian and author.

Zuehlke's historical works have primarily focussed on Canadian military history, notably on the topics of the Canadian contributions to World War I and World War II, whereas his fictional bibliography mainly includes crime fiction, notably the Elias McCann trilogy.

Biography[edit]

Mark Zuehlke was born in Vernon in British Columbia.[1]

Zuehlke, initially a journalist, quit his previous career in January 1981 and has been publishing books since 1992.[1]

In the year 2000, Zuehlke's Hands Like Clouds won the Crime Writers of Canada's Arthur Ellis Award for the Best First Novel. In 2004, Zuehlke's Sweep Lotus was nominated for the Arthur Ellis Award for Best Novel.[1]
