Martin Ferreira (born 24 January 1989) is a South African rugby union player, who most recently played Currie Cup rugby with [[{{{tan}}}|{{{t}}}]].[1] His regular position is hooker.
Career
Youth and amateur
He represented Eastern Province at the 2005 Under-16 Grant Khomo Week and 2007 Under-18 Craven Week tournaments. He joined the [[{{{tan}}}|{{{t}}}]] in 2008 and played for the [[{{{tan}}}|{{{t}}}]] side in 2008 and the [[{{{tan}}}|{{{t}}}]] side in 2011.
He was also a member of the [[{{{tan}}}|{{{t}}}]] squad for the 2010 Varsity Cup competition, but failed to make an appearance. He did however play in that competition for the [[{{{tan}}}|{{{t}}}]], making 28 appearances between 2011 and 2014.
SWD Eagles
He was included in the [[{{{tan}}}|{{{t}}}]] squad for the 2011 Currie Cup First Division and made his debut in a compulsory friendly against the [[{{{tan}}}|{{{t}}}]].[2] He made eight starts and one substitute appearance in the competition proper, scoring three tries.
He returned to the [[{{{tan}}}|{{{t}}}]] for the 2013 Currie Cup First Division season.[3]
Eastern Province Kings
In 2014, he linked up with the [[{{{tan}}}|{{{t}}}]] prior to the 2014 Currie Cup Premier Division season.[4]
He was included in the [[{{{tan}}}|{{{t}}}]] Super Rugby squad for the 2016 Super Rugby season.[5]
