Marvin Amparo Santana (born July 29, 1992) is a Dominican American entrepreneur and businessman known for his contributions to digital journalism and retail. He founded Continent Times, Postidal, and affiliated digital journalism outlets, Continent Post and Continent Post en Español.[1][2]

Early life and education[edit]

Santana was born in Hato Mayor del Rey, Dominican Republic. In 2015, he graduated from the Farmingdale State College with a bachelor's degree in business management and a Minor in Legal Studies. Subsequently, in 2017, he earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A) from the Rochester Institute of Technology business school.[3]

Career[edit]

In 2017, Santana founded Continent Times, an American digital newspaper and data analytics company that covered independent business, finance, and Washington, D.C., politics news.[citation needed]

Santana expanded his business in 2020 by founding Postidal, a tech startup in retail shopping and self-checkout bodegas.[citation needed]
