Mathura Bikash Tripura (Bengali: মথুরা বিকাশ ত্রিপুরা) is a Bangladeshi prominent social development activist and researcher from Tripura community. He is one of the founding members of Zabarang Kalayn Samity, one of the NGOs working for the betterment of hill people.
Recently he received an award "Mother Language Award" from the Bangladeshi Prime Minister.[1]
He has written more than 12 books, edited more than 15 literary magazines, development journals and co authored about 70 teaching learning materials including text books,story book and co edited about 25 literary magazines and journals.
He contributed to 7 publications in different articles and books.[2]
Personal life[edit]
He was born in the Khagrachari hill district of Bangladesh which shares a border with Tripura of India. His father is a retired primary school teacher and his mother is a housewife.
His wife Krittika Tripura works in a government office at Khagrachari.
