Matias Oyarzo
Matias Oyarzo, also known as Peluchin Entertainment (born September 19, 2003), is a Chilean YouTuber who has gained notoriety for the killing of his cat Jason.[1] After the video of the killing of his cat was made, Oyarzo stated that his cat Jason died as a result of an accident and that he adopted two new kittens.[2] Additionally, he stated that his cat Jason "was infected" and "had to be sacrificed by the vet".[3] However, according to his prosecutor, Sebastian Gonzalez, Oyarzo recorded himself bludgeoning his cat.[4] As a result of his actions, Oyarzo has to pay a fine and can face up to 540 days in prison if he is convicted.[5]
Prior to uploading the video of him beating up his cat, Oyarzo made videos that involved harassing and sending death threats to a Mexican man with Asperger's syndrome who goes by the name "Super Wario Man" as well as suffocating his cat with food from a can. After the incident where he tortured his cat, he made a video where he put one of the cats he said he adopted in a toilet filled with feces and laughed as it tried to get out of it.[6]
As of late December 2018, Oyarzo has about 35,000 subscribers to his YouTube channel.[7]
About three months after the incident where he killed his cat took place, Oyarzo was accused of abusing two girls in the Pedro Pablo Lemaitre School. He is currently suspended from the school.[8]
