Matrixport[4] is a Singapore-headquartered[5] crypto financial services company[6] co-founded by Jihan Wu[7] and Yuesheng Ge[8] in 2019. [9] After spinning off from Bitmain, [10] it started operating independently. [11] In July, it officially went live.[12]

Backed by Lightspeed,[13] IDG Capital and DST Global, [14] it offers services for crypto lending, [15] OTC trading, custody of digital assets, [16] and asset management. [17] Outside of Singapore, Matrixport has set up its presences in Hong Kong[18] and Switzerland.[19]

On March 4, 2020, Bloomberg stated that Matrixport was seeking to raise $40 million in a new funding round.[20]

On August 1, 2021, Matrixport raised a Series C financing round of $100 million.[21]
