Matrubharti is an self book publishing and reading digital platform for the writers and readers. Hundreds of stories, novels and books are being publishing on matrubharti platform from all over the India. It's also active on the OTT platform where focusing in India region content.[1]

Early years[edit]

It is launched in early 2015 by co-founders Mahendra Sharma and Nilesh Shah to promote Indian Literature and Culture.[2][3] Matrubharti platform mainly focused on publishing books, novels and story and giving a free access to readers. Matrubharti OTT platform is called as Matrubharti Vishesh, that are release for publish use in early 2019.

Growth[edit]

Matrubharti add Vishesh premium section on it's section where exclusive content streaming of regional theatrical plays, short films, OpenMics (live poetry recitals and stand-up comedy) and literature festivals available for users. Matrubharti secured 3.24 crore fund on angle funding round on oct 2019.[4]

Award[edit]

Matrubharti is awarded by mBillionth Award for Culture and Tourism Winner in 2016.[5] It's selected by Microsoft’s ‘Highway to a Hundred Unicorns’ Award.[6] [7]
