Matt Allard (born 1982) is a Canadian politician in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He has served as the city councillor for St. Boniface since 2014.[6]

Early life and career

Allard was born in 1982 in St. Boniface, Manitoba.

Allard was an athlete in the 1999 Canada Winter Games, in the weightlifting category.[2]

Allard ran as the New Democratic Party candidate for Saint Boniface in both 2004 and 2006, placing third both times.

Municipal politics

Matt Allard was elected in the 2014 Manitoba municipal elections as a city councillor for the ward of St. Boniface.
