Matt C. Harris
Matthew Carmichael Harris is an American venture capitalist, who currently works at Bain Capital Ventures and lives in New York City. He focuses on investments in financial technology and services. Harris co-founded Village Ventures with fellow Williams College graduate Bo Peabody.[1]
Biography[edit]
In 2001, Village Ventures, Inc., and more specifically Harris' role in it, was written up as a case study in Harvard Business Review.[2]
In 2004, Harris married filmmaker Jessica Glass (born 1975), whose father is a physician. Glass was the producer of On Common Ground, a film about reconciliations of former German and American soldiers from World War II, and Swimming on the Moon.[3] Since their marriage, Jessica has used the name Jessica Harris and has been involved in producing a radio program about entrepreneurship.[4] Matt and Jessica have five children.
