Matthew Chinedu (born 28 August 1998) is a Nigerian footballer who plays for Chittagong Abahani as a Forward or Midfielder[1]. He joined the Bangladesh Premier League side in October 2019[2][3][4][5].
Club Career[edit]
Farashganj SC[edit]
Matthew signed with Bangladesh Premier League side Farashganj SC for 2017-18 Bangladesh Premier League[6]. He scored six goals in that season[7]. However, he couldn’t save Farashganj from relegation.
Arambagh KS[edit]
In 2018, Matthew signed an one-year contract with another Bangladesh Premier League side Arambagh KS[8]. He scored seven goals including one hat-trick & made about ten assists[9]. He was one of the top assist provider of that season.[10]
Chittagong Abahani[edit]
In October 2019, Matthew joined Chittagong Abahani, another team from the same league, as his previous team Arambagh's coach Maruful Haque also joined the team.[11][12] He played 2019 Sheikh Kamal International Club Cup for Chittagong Abahani where he became highest scorer for his team scoring four goals.[13]
