Matt "MK" Kiatipis is a current professional street-ball basketball player who is known for producing viral dunk videos, and "taking over" basketball parks across North America. Matt "MK" Kiatipis was born in New market, Ontario, Canada. [1]

Career[edit]

Kiatipis played one season in the NCAA Division 2 for Simon Fraser University in the GNAC Conference. After 1 season in the NCAA, he signed to FIBA Basketball agent Soritis Liomas of Elite Basketball Agents and he was drafted to Asociación Greiga De Baloncesto of Costa Rica’s Primary Professional Basketball League. His first season of professional basketball in Costa Rica he averaged 22.5 Ppg, 5.8 RPG, & 3.3 apg. He was named to the All LSB (Liga Superior De Baloncesto) 2nd Team. Following his season in Costa Rica he began to make YouTube videos in which he “Took Over” several park basketball courts in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.Matt Kiatipis’ YouTube career took off September of 2021 when he released a series of viral basketball videos. Known as “Park Takeovers”, Kiatipis would go to parks across Toronto, Canada and make YouTube videos. After success in Canada, Kiatipis went to the United States to collaborate with big names across the YouTube community.[2]
