Muhammad Umar Farooqi (Urdu: مولانا مُحَمَّد عُمر فاروقی) is one of the renowned Pakistani Islamic scholar; based in Karachi, Pakistan and a member of Tablighi Jamaat.
Ideology & Influences[edit]
Umar is an influential speaker and cleric of the Bab-ul-Islam Mosque. He is also serving as Principal of affiliated Madrasa (Urdu: جامع مَسجِد وَ مَدرَسَہ بابُ الاِسلام ، سیکٹر ٩ ، نارتھ کراچی ، کراچی). He is always found motivating the general public to seek knowledge and practice high moral standards and ethical values of Islam. Recordings of his several motivational speeches may also be found on a YouTube channel by the name of Islamic Lifestyle.
Academia[edit]
He was highly qualified from Jamia Darul Uloom, Karachi (Urdu: جامعہ دارالعلوم کراچی, Jāmi‘ah Dāru’l-‘Ulūm Karāchī; Arabic: جامعة دار العلوم كراتشي, Jami‘ah Dār al-‘Ulūm Karātshī). After successful completion of Dars e Nizami, he spent one complete year with Tablighi Jamaat as well. And for past several years; he occasionally delivers his speeches in Madni Masjid Tablighi Markaz, Karachi during Shab e Jumah (Urdu: شَبِ جُمعہ) congregation as well.
