One of the few pictures where Minister Mauricelm X is smiling, still carrying that boyish charm.
A Smiling Minister Mauricelm X: A rare picture of Minister Mauricelm X smiling after an interview questioning his controversial statements against Minister Louis Farrakhan concerning "the deaths of Minister Dr. Khalid Abdul Muhammad, Minister Malcolm X, The Honorable Elijah Muhammad, Sister Minister Ava Muhammad, and countless others. He runs his version of the Nation of Islam as a Mafiatic Senate."

Mauricelm-Lei Millere (born May 28, 1973 Marianna, Arkansas), (otherwise known as Mauricelm X) is an African American political and religious movement leader. Millere is an author, human rights activist, psychiatric clinician, and independent scientist.[1] Millere is the leader of African American Defense League - Organization of Afro-American Unity, A2DL-OAAU, often referred to as African American Defense League, AADL or just A2DL.[2][3][4][5] The organization was was founded by Millere and Khalid Abdul Muhammad, under the direction of Ella Little-Collins who sought to present them with the OAAU Charter after hearing Millere give a speech entitled, "The Black Revolution and The Black Evolution", at a commemoration honoring The Life and Works of Minister Malcolm X. The charter was extended amid Little-Collins declaring that Millere's spirit reminded her of Malcolm. The Charter was received at an old Elijah Muhammad black muslim Temple Off Highway 61 North, in Tunica, Mississippi August 28, 1986.[6]

Millere became administrator of the African American Defense League after the nine month imprisonment of Khalid Abdul Muhammad 1987, who would later become the national advisor to Louis Farrakhan in 1991 and ousted by Louis Farrakhan in 1993 for speech at Kean College.[7][8][9]

Millere continued to serve as private personal advisor for Khalid Abdul Muhammad, New Black Panther Party Chairman, until Muhammad's death 2001. He served as advisor for Malik Zulu Shabazz, with Shabazz even serving on the board of the A2DL.[2] According to the Daily Beast, On July 08, 2016 Shabazz and Professor Griff went to great lengths to distance himself from Millere, concerning the 2016 shooting of Dallas police officers by associate Micah Xavier Johnson.[3][10][11][12] The Anti-Defamation League's Oren Segal believes that Millere is currently advising the New Black Panther Party.[2][3][4][11]

During the Hillary Clinton Campaign For POTUS, Millere was invited by Bill Clinton to attend an event at Kentucky State University, held by the Democratic Party to discuss police reform. Millere and Clinton are seen shaking hands in a photo in the lobby of the university's administration building.[11][13][2]

Millere is accused of preaching racism and violence, CNN Reporter Drew Griffin, "Was Dallas cop killer Micah Johnson radicalized online."[12], He sent a warning to the associated press, according to Reuters reporter Tim Reid, he shouted to the audience, "We are tired of dead bodies in our community, We are not going to take it anymore."[2][11][12] He has a controversial facet as well, as he strictly taunt and reprimand blacks, or African Americans, who "blackslide" against themselves and their own race. On an occasion, during the Ferguson unrest protest, Millere culturally chastised a black gentlemen named Martin Baker for his stance concerning Darren Wilson, the white police who killed Brown.[14] In the 2018 Shooting of Antwon Rose Jr., a young black male shot by police serving East Pittsburg, Pennsylvania multiple times, Millere,"called for activists around the country to converge with violence on Pittsburg after the shooting death of 17 year old Antwon Rose.[3][15] On another occasion, Millere spoke of a bounty on the head of Candace Owens for her comments against George Floyd who was killed in public, on camera, before the global world, as well as Jacob Blake, Daunte Wright, Ma'Khia Bryant for being a traitor to her race, in colorful satire.[16] However controversial, Millere and his tactics appear to be respected by many blacks & whites. He is noted for his uncompromising stance against white racism, denouncement of white privilege, white racist police violence against blacks and other minorities.[17][18][19]
