Maxima LT is the biggest part of Maxima Group. Maxima stores in Lithuania hold 70 % of the total retail market. In 2011 GILD Bankers announced that Maxima Group was the most valuable company.[1]

"Maxima LT" has 17.484 employees (July 2016).[2] "Maxima LT" operates in Lithuania 237 shopping centers under the name "Maxima" (2017), formerly also under the brands "Maxima X", "Maxima XX", "Maxima XXX", "Saulutė". In 2013, the company generated total revenue of € 1.42 billion. Major competitors are IKI, RIMI and "Norfa", smaller competitors Lidl and "CBA Aibė".

Its main headquarters are in Vilnius, Lithuania.

Maxima Scholarships[edit]

2002 was beginning of the national schoolchildren's promotion program "Lithuanian Maximalists". More than 700 thousand euro have been allocated to support gifted children in their talents and achievements. Scholarships have received more than 5,000 children's. Prominent grant holder was:
