Maximilian Paul Schulz (born 24 January 1994) is a German politician and a member of The Left party. He is a federal and state speaker of the Left Youth Solid.[1][2]

Life[edit]

Schulz was born in Stade.

After graduating his a-levels at the Gymnasium Bremervörde Schulz studied from 2012 bis 2019 at the University of Oldenburg.[3] Graduating with a Master of Arts in Philosophy. He also achieved a Master of Education in Mathematics, "Werte und Normen"(ethics as a subject in Germany) and philosophy. Currently he is obtaining his doctoral degree on Karl Marx concept of a liberated society and is teaching at his university.[4][5]

Poltics[edit]

Starting in October 2018 Schulz appeared as a spokesmen of the Oldenburg section of the NGO Jugend Rettet.[6][7] Starting April 2018 he als was the federal spokesmen of the "Botschaften" division. During his activities he held numerous presentations about the Non-governmental organizations work in Germany und participated in September 2017 as a speaker at the conference "Migration Movements around the Mediterranean".[8]

Im November 2017 Schulz restarted the local division of "The Left.SDS", the German university organization linked to The Left.[9] From April 2018 to April 2019 Schulz was a co-spokesmen of the AStA at the University of Oldenburg.[10][11]

At the end of 2017 Schulz joined The Left and its youth organization Left Youth Solid. In Januar 2019 he became states spokesmen and vice treasurer of the Left Youth Solid in Lower Saxony by election. He was reelected in August 2019.[12] At the federal congress of the Left Youth Solid in April 2019 Schulz was elected to federal spokesmen of the Left Youth Solid.[2]

From February 2019 to Februar 2020 Schulz was a member of the communal head of The Left in Oldenburg.

Political emphases[edit]

His political focus is on sea rescue, criticism of anti-Semitism and labor struggle. As federal spokesman, he also focuses on international cooperation with other left-wing youth associations.[2]
