Mayank Kumar[1] is an inventor, entrepreneur, and self-taught software engineer. He is famously known for inventing the world's first Sanskrit and multilingual programming language, OM Lang[2]. He is the founder of the OM Lang project, which aimed to build multilingual software for India.

Mayank was born in Bhopal, MP, India, where he grew up. He graduated from high school and decided not to join the college to pursue his dream early to start a journey in the world of Start-ups. He started earning money online at a very young age, when he was just 14 he was already earning a few dollars from uploading YouTube videos.

Early Life[edit]

In 2015, he started a tech blog and YouTube channel called Dexteroid with some friends. He managed the YouTube channel alone, along with being a writer on his blog.

Around 2018, he entered the programming world and built his first popular software called TWRP Backup Tool for Windows. Although he was into programming since his teenage years, he never really stepped outside the domain of web development.

Career[edit]

In 2019, he founded his first Tech startup, Awedea! along with his brother. They launched some games at first, but they weren't successful, like the game Fly or Not. In 2020, he created Nyx Music Player[3] which became a big hit, crossing over 1 million downloads within a year and becoming a top 10-grossing app in Brazil on Google Play.

In the same year, he started working on OM Lang alone and finally launched the OM Lang under the project, OM Lang, in 2022. OM Lang became the World’s first Sanskrit Programming Language as well as the World’s first multilingual programming language. With his project, he aims to spread knowledge of programming all over India and at the same time work on building India’s own Operating System, OM OS.
