Mayukh Bhattacharyya (born 6 March 1999) is an Indian artist, short film director, actor and mimicry artist who works in Bengali short films. He belongs to Jalpaiguri, West Bengal. He achieved a world record for mimicking (voice imitation) of 29 Bollywood actors including Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Farhan Akhtar, Nana Patekar etc. on 29th June, 2021 and enlisted his name in International Book Of Records and also enlisted his name in India Book Of Records [1]. He made a documentary film on Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya named Vande BCKV and was awarded best documentary film and best director’s awards from many national and international film festivals including International Golden Mirror Film Festival, Great Indian Short Film Festival[2] (Kolkata) and also nominated for Primavera D' Oriente Cinema Award [3] (Italy). He also received Bharatiya Kalaratna Art Excellence Award from Ajanta Ellora International Art Gallery, Aurangabad, Maharashtra.
Educational background
Mayukh Bhattacharyya was a student of Jalpaiguri Zilla School and passed higher secondary from that school in the year 2016. After that, he was admitted to Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya, Mohanpur, Nadia, West Bengal for the course Bachelor of Science in Agriculture and graduated in the year 2020. Currently he is pursuing Master of Science in Agronomy (crop science) from that University.
Career
He is very fond of theatre and recitation since childhood. He used to participate in several inter school and inter university theatre competitions at state and national level including ICAR Agri Unifest. He did his first telefilm named Kidnap in the year 2009 in a supporting role as a child artist. He made a documentary film on Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya named Vande BCKV in the year 2018 which was very popular in the Agricultural fraternity of India and also received best documentary film and best director’s award from several national and international film festivals. He also acted as a lead in a music video named Chuye Toke produced by Rahul and friends, promoted by Bangla Rock Projanmo[4] in the year 2018. He achieved a world record for mimicking (voice imitation) of 29 Bollywood actors including Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Farhan Akhtar, Nana Patekar etc. on 29th June, 2021 and enlisted his name in International Book Of Records and also in India Book Of Records [5]. He also did a short film named Shonito on the theme of promoting blood donation in the year 2021 and received a best short film award from National Aids Control Organization.

Mayukh Bhattacharyya's father Mihir Chandra Bhattacharyya is an Agricultural Extension Officer, Department of Agriculture at North Bengal Secretariat, Uttarkanya, Siliguri and his mother Baishali Bhattacharyya is a housewife.
