Md. Nadir Bin Ali (born 20 August 1973) is a Bangladeshi researcher and Associate Professor of Daffodil International University.[1] He is one of the pioneer of Internet community in Bangladesh.[according to whom?] Currently he is the vice-president of the Internet Society Bangladesh Chapter.[2] He also works as an Additional Registrar of Daffodil International University, Bangladesh.[3] He achieved his PhD from USIM, Malaysia.

Early life and education[edit]

Ali was born in Matlab South Upazila in Chandpur. He earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in cybersecurity from Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) in 2019.[4]

Ali has involvement with various networking-related works around Bangladesh. As part of the working area, he involved in volunteer activities also. He is one of the best Google Educator Group (GEG) leader in south Asia and received the best GEG leader in 2015.[5] He has written several research articles in journals and conferences. Personal life[edit]

Ali married Shabnam Afroz Dina in 2001. They have a son, Meshkat Zubair Ador studying level-11 at St. Joseph Higher Secondary School in Dhaka, and a daughter, Mashiat Fatema studying level-8 at Mohammadpur Preparatory School & College (Girls Wing), Dhaka.
