Mehrdad Fakher (Persian: مهرداد فاخر) was born in Tehran in 1984 and raised in Oxford and London. He studied at Warminster and Aldenham schools and graduated from Adamson University in 2002 with a Business Administration degree, MBA & DBA. When he returned to Iran, his mother was the CEO of Tipax.[1]. Still, the company's traditional system was not such that Mehrdad could envision a future for it. On the other side, he wasn't as powerful to change this family business. So he started his job as the manager of Tipax[1] branches in Tehran to evolve Tipax[1] by the benefit of leading-edge knowledge and relying on what he had learned from logistics. During this time, he isolated the Tehran section from the others to try his new policies on it and show his abilities to his family; the changes that he made during this period included visual unification of personnel and branches, branding, etc. After, he developed his job as Deputy CEO and, finally, the CEO of Tipax[1] When he started his job as the CEO of Tipax[1], he found out that he should begin with the human resources section if he wants to change this old and traditional system. He started with human resources and developed it into a business development unit, strategy unit, marketing, branding, etc. But the real change happened in 2017 when he started a digital transformation and business development based on technology. This year he bought a new land for the Hub of Tipax[1] and formulated a new business strategy and plan. To do this, he negotiated with the German company Beumer. He ordered a mechanized hub and designed software called Jet that today regulates Tipax[1]'s entire process. He believed that Tipax[1] needs to keep up with the digital world with this new business model. So this idea developed the company Services from 86 branches to 500 and from 600 employees to 3500. This Hub, which is named TiHub, is sorting 60,000 loads per day. He has so many stories about that time. The other change was about the sections of Tipax[1] Mehrdad separated various company sections and gave a new name to each of them to complete his logistic supply chain, for example, Tinext for intra-city, Tiexpress for international transportation, Logistic Bazar for Logistics programming platform, EFA for the fulfillment, and so on. He says this formula helped me to manage everything more straightforward and clear. In 2016, with the launch of Fakher Holding under Deloitte advisory, he also endeavored to expand his business with new ideas into industries such as furniture, information technology, online platforms, and garment. Fakher Holding includes 15 companies and 3 SUB with 4500 employees. It has established to form and lead the Fakher ecosystem, organizing and managing subsidiary companies' strategy. The Holding seeks to set up new businesses and develop suitable infrastructures to create an inclusive network of value exchange among people, government, and suppliers of goods and services.[1] [2]
