Meidata
Meidata is a market research company. Its headquarters are in Tel Aviv, Israel, and it has an office in the US after opening a subsidiary in 2014.
The company was founded in 2008 and recruited analysts with contributions from Israeli military intelligence[which?], applying methods from the military realm into business research. The main focus of the company was research in the telecom markets, but later moved into additional vertical markets such as the defense,[1] law enforcement,[2] energy, automotive, media, pharmaceuticals, medical,[3] IT and financial industries.
Meidata collects and analyzes data and information from various sources including open sources, social media, database analytics, conferences coverage and interviews with business experts in several countries. This data is then processed and a report or dashboard is created.
The company conducted research[when?] on cyber attacks causing damage in Israel costing US $3 billion.[4]
The company also compiles competitive intelligence infographics.[5]
