Mekhai Allan Andersen (born September 13, 2008) is an American child model and actor noted for his role of Henry LaMontagne on the television series Criminal Minds. Anderson is the real-life son of actress A. J. Cook, who portrays his mother Jennifer Jareau on the show.

Andersen was born on September 13, 2008, weighing 7 lbs 10 oz, with a height of 20 inches. He is the son of A. J. Cook and her husband, Nathan Andersen.[1]
Career[edit]
When Cook announced she was pregnant, the producers of Criminal Minds chose to have Cook's character also be pregnant, rather than try to hide the pregnancy. They later chose to use Cook's son on set as her character's son. Andersen has portrayed Henry LaMontagne, son to Cook's Jennifer Jareau, since his birth. As of May 2013[update], he has appeared in seven episodes (all of which have been credited), including the two-part Season Seven finale, and Season Eight opener. In his free time he enjoys going to the beach, playing tennis or playing soccer.
