"Memories" is a song by Public Image Ltd. The Metal Box version comprises two different takes, which are cut together.[citation needed] The opening recording is thin sounding, the insert bass heavy. In the dramatically inserted take, Jah Wobble's bass line is given far more depth and prominence.[citation needed]
It reached number sixty on the UK Singles Chart.[1]
