Metamorphilia
Metamorphilia Script error: No such module "AfC submission catcheck". Metamorphilia, also known as a transformation fetish, or "TF" fetish is a paraphilia involving transformation. Transformation fetishists often fantasize about physical shapeshifting of the self, others, objects, or animals and can include general body alterations or changes in gender, age, musculature, size, species, or changes into inanimate objects. Some transformation also features 'mental transformations' where the mind of the subject changes or adjusts to fit accompanying physical changes. Some transformation media branches beyond the 'process' of the transformation to include the reaction of the individual and society to their changes. Transformation content can include sexual content, however, a significant amount of content is either non-sexual or merely suggestive.
While some transformation fetishists have been able to realize their fantasies in sexual roleplay, most transformation fetishes realize their fantasies through transformation art, erotica, and video. There is a large overlap between transformation fetishists and the furry community as animal transformation constitutes a significant emphasis of the paraphilia.[1]
Many transformation fetishists cite the many transformations found in animation as an early trigger for their fetish while others cite having branched into the fetish from overlapping fetishes such as muscle worship, werewolf fetishes, or the furry fetish.
Famous individuals with transformation fetishes include Osamu Tezuka, the "father of manga."[2]
