Metrorex is the Romanian company which runs the Bucharest Metro. Metrorex was due to be merged with Bucharest's surface transport operator, STB, to form the Bucharest Metropolitan Transport Corporation, but this has been postponed indefinitely as of 2006. Metrorex's CEO is Aldea Marin as of 3 July 2019.
